John and Helen run a primarily cattle station that has been in the family since 1906. John and Helen took up the reins in 1975 and added citrus 8 years ago to diversify farm income. They have been supplying their fruit to countdown through Kaiaponi packhouse the entire time.
 

The Orchard is located in a naturally sheltered picturesque valley on the outskirts of Gisborne. John manages his orchard with great care taken to protect beneficial insects and minimize chemical inputs. John and Helen Williams are one of Kaiaponi’s key Lemon suppliers committed to supplying quality fruit for the Countdown citrus program.
